Fun & Educational Exams & Cleanings
Routine checkups are the foundation of a healthy smile! We provide gentle, thorough cleanings to remove plaque and tartar, paired with a comprehensive exam to monitor your child’s dental development. Our team takes the time to teach your little ones proper brushing and flossing techniques using fun, age-appropriate language (the "Tell-Show-Do" method). We also offer preventative fluoride treatments and dental sealants to keep cavities away.

1. When should my child have their first dental visit?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that a child visit the dentist by their first birthday or within six months after their first tooth erupts. Early visits help us catch potential issues and establish a positive "dental home" for your child.
2. What happens during my child’s first exam and cleaning?
We keep it light and fun! We will gently clean your child's teeth, count them, and check their gums and jaw development. For very young children, we often do a "knee-to-knee" exam with the parent to keep the child feeling secure.
3. What should I do if my child knocks out a permanent tooth?
Find the tooth, hold it by the crown (the top part, not the root), and gently rinse it with water if it's dirty. If possible, reinsert it into the socket and have your child bite on clean gauze. If you can't reinsert it, place it in a cup of cold milk and call our emergency line immediately. Time is critical!
4. How do you handle children who are anxious or scared of the dentist?
Dental anxiety is completely normal. Our team uses positive reinforcement, kid-friendly terminology, and a patient, unhurried pace. We explain every tool we use before we use it, ensuring there are no scary surprises.
5. Are you currently accepting new patients?
Yes! We are thrilled to welcome new smiles to our practice. We work with a variety of insurance plans and will help you navigate your benefits to maximize your child's coverage.
